The Sinnoh Update

The Sinnoh update is here#

The Sinnoh Pokédex just landed. 107 new Pokémon are now spawning, evolving, breeding and battling everywhere. The Pokédex now runs 1 to 493!

All 14 Sinnoh legendaries are out there too, each with its own arrival and backdrop! And two new roamers are on the move.

New evolution items in the /shop cover every new line, so nothing in Sinnoh is out of reach.

Special Research#

You can now encounter Special Pokémon through /specialresearch! You will work through multi-stage investigations through a set of tasks. They will take a long time to complete, however nothing ever expires and you can work on multiple at once! Complete every stage and a special reward is waiting at the end.

Mythical Pokémon can't be found in the wild. A few of them aren't obtainable yet at all. Be on the lookout for future updates and events!

Fishing#

Buy a Rod at the /shop and use /fish to cast a line. When something bites you only get a moment to reel it in. Only you see the bite, the catch and the battle. Nobody can try to steal your fish!

Better rods pull rarer Pokémon, and only the Super Rod ever hooks a Feebas.

Formes#

Giratina's Origin Forme and Rotom's five appliances are now live! Form items are available in the /shop, and only show up once you own the Pokémon they're used on, and are never consumed.

Incense babies#

Nine Incenses are now in the /shop. Have a parent hold one at the /daycare and the Egg hatches the baby form: Munchlax, Bonsly, Mime Jr., Budew, Mantyke and more. If you don't have the Incense, you will not hatch the baby.

Sinnoh Week#

To celebrate the launch, it's SINNOH WEEK! For the next 7 days, Sinnoh Pokémon spawn about 1.5× more often. Legendaries keep their normal odds. Fill that dex.

Quality of life#

• Favorites: favorite any Pokémon from /pokemon info. Favorites pin to the top of your box, wear a heart on their cards, and can't be released!
• Easier selling: /market list price:<amount> with no Pokémon picked now opens a picker of your box.
• Game-accurate throws: you can't throw a ball at a Pokémon that's mid Dive, Fly or Dig anymore. Wait for it to come back into sight.
• The market got real pages and faster sorting for big collections.
