Legendaries got a whole lot more LEGENDARY!#

Every legendary now has its own personality. The messages you see when one appears, escapes, or goes down are unique to that legend.

A legendary that escapes can come back for a rematch. If one got away in your server, watch the spawn cards. Small hints appear when it is getting close.

And when someone finally catches one, there is a new special surprise! Everyone will see a full celebration card with the legendary having a special background, its stats, and the trainer who caught it. Shiny legendary catches get a very special version. Good luck finding one!

Tip for the hunters: legendaries resist capture hard. A weakened, sleeping legend stays in the ball way more often than a healthy one.

Pickup works now#

A Pokémon with the Pickup Ability can find an item after wild battles. That means a battle you won, or a wild encounter you caught after fighting. Just throwing a ball at a fresh spawn does not count.

Who has it: Meowth, Aipom, Teddiursa, Phanpy, Zigzagoon, and Linoone.

• Every Pickup Pokémon in your party rolls a 10% chance after the battle.
• One item per battle, and up to 3 finds a day.
• More Pickup Pokémon in your party means better odds per battle.
• Higher level Pickup Pokémon find better items.

Rare finds (1.5% of any find, any level): an Evolution Stone, a type held item, a King's Rock, Leftovers, or a Nugget.

💰 The Nugget is pure gold with no use at all. Sell it at the Mart for ₽1,500. Pokémon with Pickup can find one, and just like the games, a wild Meowth, Grimer, or Muk is sometimes carrying one when you catch it.

The caught marker#

A small Poké Ball now shows next to a wild Pokémon's name on the battle screen when you have already caught that species, just like the games. No ball means you still need it. If the wild is a shiny, the ball only shows if you have caught a shiny of that species before.

And the rest#

• 🔥 Eggs hatch faster with a fiery friend. Keep a Pokémon with Flame Body or Magma Armor in your party and your Eggs hatch twice as fast. That is Magby, Magmar, Slugma, Magcargo, and Camerupt.
• 🚫 Can't escape! Trapping abilities finally work. You can no longer run from a wild Diglett, Dugtrio, or Trapinch (Arena Trap), a Wobbuffet (Shadow Tag), or a Magnemite line holding your Steel type in place (Magnet Pull). Ghost types can always leave, and a Pokémon with Run Away now lives up to its name and escapes anything.
